Beyond Van Gogh features more than 300 of Vincent Van Gogh’s iconic artworks, exciting the art lovers’ senses through a three-dimensional lens in a way that’s never been experienced before.  You’ll find some of his famous works, such as “The Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” and ‘Café Terrace at Night”.  A new appreciation of this tortured artist’s stunning work will undoubtedly emerge as guests travel through, hearing Van Gogh’s own words set to a symphonic score.

Enjoy free weekly concerts from Austin’s favorite and emerging artists all summer long! No outside food or drink is allowed at this event, but adult beverages and food are available for purchase. Make sure to register ahead of time since tickets are limited.

July 4 – Austin Fourth of July Symphony and Fireworks 2021
Vic Mathias Shores & The Long Center for the Performing Arts

This free July 4th event is Central Texas’ largest fireworks display and is soundtracked by the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Get there early to find a good spot and food and drink vendors will be available on site.

July 9 – August 14 – Zilker Summer Musical
Hill Country Galleria

Enjoy a free musical at the Hill Country Galleria pavilion. This year, the outdoor theatre troupe will be performing “Little Shop of Horrors” throughout the month.

July 11 – August 25 – The Austin Symphony presents Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park

Enjoy classical music all summer long at the Hartman Concert Park at the Long Center. Bring a picnic dinner, blanket, and good company! 

July 29 – CONCACAF Gold Cup Semifinals

Enjoy a semifinal soccer game at the new Q2 stadium in Austin. The CONCACAF Gold Cup is a premier event that crowns a champion every two years.

Black Lives Matter Austin will be protesting the death of Daunte Wright and Andrew Brown, Jr. and demand an end to injustice from police brutality. The event is in solidarity with Brooklyn Center, Elizabeth City, Columbus, Hamilton Township, and other cities across the nation.
